Tell the community what P4A has done for you — your quote appears on the home page once approved.
Overview
A testimonial is a short quote about your experience with P4A, shown in a carousel on the public home page. Signed-in users can submit one; each is held for review and appears publicly only once an admin approves it. The home page always shows the Testimonials section — when there aren't any approved yet, it invites you to be the first to share one.
Submitting one
Scroll to the Testimonials section on the home page — below the leaderboards — and choose Share your testimonial (signed-out visitors see Sign up to share instead, since submitting requires an account). A dialog opens with these fields:
- Your name — the display name shown on the card. This is free-text and deliberately not pre-filled from your profile, so you can present yourself in the role you're speaking from — for example a title at an external company.
- Role — optional job title shown under your name (e.g. "Platform Engineer").
- Company — optional company shown alongside the role.
- Testimonial — your quote, between 10 and 600 characters.
The card shows your quote, name, and a role · company line, with your initials as the avatar. P4A doesn't store profile photos, so the initials stand in for everyone.
Review and approval
After you submit, your testimonial is held for review — it isn't public yet. An admin approves or declines it:
- Approved — your testimonial goes live in the home-page carousel, and you're notified.
- Declined — the testimonial won't be published, and you're notified.
You can adjust your notification preferences for these updates on your account settings page.
Testimonials are a one-time submission: once sent, they're reviewed as-is. If you want to change or remove a published testimonial, contact the P4A team.
